The Genealogy Download site will be under construction for a little while,
until I get the HTMLs in order and the information uploaded.
A few things to mention about the Family Group Sheets and the information
contained on them:
First, It should be noted that the GEDCOM used here is merged from three
separate GEDCOMs: My own, The Gates GEDCOM, and the Cribbs GEDCOM. You
can go to my Links Page at
Then page down to the CRIBBS SITE Banner and click on that. It is an
excellent site for the Cribbs family. :) Correct my data with his, with
the possible exception of the two CRIBSS/FLEMING Match-ups.
The Gates GEDCOM was a file I found somewhere purely by accident. I was
researching the Abraham FULTON Family on the net somewhere and off in some
corner somewhere I found this GEDCOM just sitting there with not much to
draw attention to it. When I viewed it, it had my FULTONs and their related
families on it, so I used it. If I find an address for a Site by the Gates
who wrote this, I will also put his/her Banner on my Links Page.
The Second thing to know is that alot of this work was due to the work of
others, as well as my own. Some of those responsible for adding valuable
data are:
Eileen Irwin, Dolores Mc Gowan, Paul Mc Gowan, Regis Mc Gowan, Pat Fry,
Priscilla Fleming, Mrs. Paul, Pat Stark, Mr. Earnest Craighead, and others.
These people either provided information for my ancestors or the allowed
us to use their whole family histories.
Thirdly, There are a couple Organizations and people who provided special
input of a general nature which became extremely helpful. These people
are:
The LDS Family Historical Center (Mesa), The World Family Tree CDs for
Family Tree Maker, The City of Pittsburgh Engineering Department and the
Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire (and Union), The Scottish GRO, St. Michael's
Cemetery in Pittsburg, Mr. Mike Gavin, Kirsteen Brown, Jan, D., and others.
We may not extend this list, for it is ever growing. :)
Fourth and Finally. This is the Most IMPORTANT Item, in my opinion, but
not the one that should be first said. It belongs last to leave a more
lasting impact. I do not vouch for all of the data in the surname files.
I estimate that only about 30% max of the GEDCOM are related to me in some
way, it is probably alot less. Technically the Majority of the names here
are collateral names, or tie ins. A more fitting way to describe them is
like the old ways of naming who people are, such as Cousin's Husband's
Brother's Wife's Cousin. LOL Think on this awhile and you should see that
their is not necessarily a true relationship in this relationship. LOL

Welcome to the Site. I finally have the Family Group Sheet HTMLS from
my GEDCOM on-line. I am now checking the HTMLs for revisions to be made.
The Following Files are sections of the 1851 UK Partial Census. I have not found the data yet, but I was told these files comprise about 3% of the Census for that year.UK Census - Yorkshire (East Riding)
UK Census - Yorkshire (North Riding)
